Volunteer
At Deep Griha we are very enthusiastic about getting both local and international volunteers involved. It is a great opportunity to gain some hands-on experience of development and provides experience working in a large NGO, as well as interacting with people who have similar interests.
It is important to stress that volunteers are here to support staff and not replace them. The work you carry out as a volunteer depends largely on your own skills and interests, and of course the events taking place at Deep Griha when you arrive.
In the past volunteers have helped in areas such as fundraising, child-care, organising events and carrying out research, so please have a look at the programmes we run and email us in advance so we can assign you a project. Having said that it is always good to remain flexible as plans can change!
